Corporate Governance

The HBOS Foundation is a registered charity (No. SCO32942) regulated by OSCR (the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator).

OSCR is the independent regulator and registrar of Scottish Charities. Its aim is to support a flourishing charity sector in which the public has confidence, underpinned by OSCR's effective delivery of its regulatory role.

The HBOS Foundation's Memorandum and Articles of Association have been filed with OSCR.

The HBOS Foundation team manage and administer the day to day operations of the HBOS Foundation. Angela Tinker, who heads up the Foundation reports into Shane O'Riordan, who is the General Manager of Group Communications.

The Foundation is governed by a board of five trustees, with Phil Hodkinson as Chairman. The trustees meet quarterly to determine overall policy, review Foundation activity and resources and consider funding applications for national projects and flagship programmes.
